Terms of Service

Welcome to Miinage. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Miinage's app, website, and services ("Services"), operated by Miinage Sports and Platforms ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using Miinage, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our Services.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 12 years old to use Miinage. If you are under 18, you represent that you have consent from a parent or legal guardian.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You agree not to share your password or impersonate another user.

3. User Content and License

By posting, generating, uploading, or submitting any content (including scorecards, match cards, fixtures, tables, stats, videos, teams and league data, text, images, and other media) on Miinage, you:

• Retain ownership of your content.
• Grant Miinage a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, distribute, publicly display, and create derivative works from your content for purposes of operating, promoting, and advertising the platform, including advertising campaigns. This license remains even after you stop using Miinage.

Data Portability Restriction: All data, statistics, fixtures, scorecards, league tables, match records, team histories, and any content generated through or within Miinage's platform features ("Platform Data") are proprietary to Miinage. You agree that Platform Data generated on Miinage may not be extracted, exported, transferred, replicated, or used to populate any other platform or service, whether in whole or in part, without the express written consent of Miinage. This restriction applies regardless of your account status and survives the termination of your account. Any platform or service that knowingly receives, hosts, or uses Platform Data extracted from Miinage in violation of this clause does so without authorisation and may be subject to legal action.

4. Data and Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. By using Miinage, you consent to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use your data.

5. Prohibited Activities

• No posting harmful, harassing, hateful, violent, or illegal content.
• No cheating in matches or falsifying scores.
• No commercial use of the platform or its data without our written permission.

6. Sponsorship and Advertising

Miinage operates a sponsorship programme through which brands may sponsor teams, leagues, and players on the platform. Miinage does not accept responsibility for the products, services, or claims of any sponsor.

7. Payments

• Sponsorship: Brands wishing to sponsor on Miinage pay a sponsorship fee as described on the sponsor platform. All fees are non-refundable once a sponsor code has been issued and activated.
• Payment Methods: Payments are processed through authorised payment gateways or direct bank transfer. Miinage does not store your financial details directly.
• Price Changes: Miinage reserves the right to change pricing for any features or services. Changes will be communicated in advance.
• No Obligation: If you are directed to any Miinage payment page, you are under no obligation to complete a payment. Payment should only be made if you genuinely intend to access the service described.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or harm the Miinage community. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of any fees paid.

9. Service Availability

Miinage aims to keep the platform available at all times but does not guarantee uninterrupted access. We are not liable for any loss resulting from temporary unavailability.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Miinage and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of, or inability to use, the Services. In no event shall Miinage's total liability to you for all claims exceed the total amount paid by you to Miinage in the twelve months preceding the claim. The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Nigerian courts.

Privacy Policy

Miinage Sports and Platforms ("Miinage," "we," "our," or "us") operates the Miinage mobile application and website. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our Services.

1. Information We Collect

• Account Information: Full name, username, phone number.
• User Content: Scorecards, match cards, fixture data, images, videos, and posts you create.
• Usage Data: App interactions, features used, and session information.
• Location Data: Used only to show nearby teams and leagues, with your permission.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the Services.
• To personalise your experience and show relevant teams, leagues, and content.
• To enable sponsor brand cards on profiles where a sponsor code has been applied.
• To send you service-related communications.
• To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or violations of these Terms.

3. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal data. Your profile information is visible to other users as part of the core social and sports features. We do not share your personal data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

4. Data Security

We use industry-standard encryption and security measures to protect your data. No system is completely secure, and by using our Services you acknowledge this inherent risk. Miinage is not liable for any data breach that results from circumstances outside our reasonable control.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data will be removed within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.

6. Your Rights

You may access, correct, or delete your account information at any time within the app. To request complete data deletion, use the Delete Account page at miinage.com/delete-myaccount/ or email miinagesupport@gmail.com.

7. Children

Miinage is intended for users aged 12 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 12.

8. Limitation of Liability

Miinage is not liable for any loss, damage, or harm arising from the use or misuse of information you voluntarily share on the platform.

Community Guidelines

Welcome to Miinage — Play Fair. Play Bold.

1. Respect Everyone

No bullying, hate speech, or harassment of any kind.

2. Banters

Sport culture thrives on rivalry and banter — and we embrace that. Playful competition between teams and fans is welcome. However, persistent, targeted attacks on an individual's character, personality, or personal life cross the line. Banter must stay in the spirit of the game, not become a tool for personal harassment. If your comment would embarrass you off the pitch, it does not belong on Miinage.

3. Keep It Clean

No nudity, explicit, or violent content.

4. Sports Integrity

No cheating, score manipulation, or falsification of match results.

5. Be Authentic

No fake identities or misleading content.

6. Data Respect

Do not attempt to extract, copy, or export Miinage platform data for use on any other platform or service.

TL;DR Summary

You own your content, but Miinage can use it to operate and promote the platform.

Data generated on Miinage stays on Miinage — you cannot take it to any other platform.

We collect minimal data and do not sell it to anyone.

Play fair, no hate speech, banter is fine but keep it about sport not personalities.

You can delete your account at any time.

Miinage provides the platform as-is. We are not liable for losses beyond what you have paid us.
